IRON HEART

Penrith's first competitive all abilities team for all ages!

Liberty Allstars Iron Heart cheer team is a special needs All Star cheer team for those with developmental and/or physical disabilities. This team is comprised of athletes of all ages and varying abilities. Our athletes compete in a few All Star competitions in Homebush so there is no need to travel interstate.

Iron Heart practice one time a week for 45mins on Sunday morning with coaches and assistant coaches who are passionate about the sport and including everyone in the All Star experience. During practices they work on fine and gross motor, self-esteem and team interactions through activities aimed at developing an exciting cheer routine where all athletes will feel like an important team player. The team learns the same routine sections as the other competitive cheer teams do: jumps, motions, dance, stunts, pyramid, and tumbling.

The routine is tailored to the abilities of each individual athlete so that all athletes can participate to their fullest potential.
